me and david can provide you with all kinds of macro shots like they have everywhere. and you have mad skilz in dreamweaver and photoshop. Oh i just noticed everytime you go to the main page, http://www.dubaudi.com/, the picture changes. we have a ton of cool pics we could use for that. can you do it?

i'd have to find scripts for some of the stuff. It'll probably take a while to make a website that extensive.

I personally don't like using frames either. Cuz it you'd have to make pages within pages, which can get really annoying when they don't line up. oh and the resizing thing i dunno if i can make it resize and look right, but i'll make the size larger, but that means i need to use more space. With the content we have I dunno if I could because I'm not that creative on that end.

Oh I suggest you take a bunch of pictures just so I can have a lot too choose from. Also if you can try to get more then just vw/audi stuff. lol i know thats what you guys have but the few of us that don't would appreciate it.

I love the member's rides idea, and the idea of the rotating pics on the homepage. I think the pics on the homepage should just be of us, our cars, or things related to our group. That way no copyright infringement can be claimed, and it'll be a TRUE representation of us and our ways...

I agree with just our cars/cftc thing for the homepage. Oh the color scheme I picked was a faint darkblue(i dunno how to explain it), black, and white. If anyone else has ideas let me know. I'm like the input so far.

lol its just a map guys and a faint back ground. plus it'll probalby get covered up by pictures. well i used the central florida map because its for the about us page and we are all located somewhere in central florida. now if this was a page for cool roads and what not it would have been totally different.

well besides the map what do you guys think needs too be changed?

so how about those marco shots? or any nice clear photos of someones car?

I started on the members page and so far this is what I got.

I'd love to add some pics but most of them are motion pics so there some blur to them. Maybe we can have a photo meet one day or something. So we can get some nice stationary pics of most of the cars.

anyways what I plan to do is make each of these little boxes a rollover image and have everything about the member posted on the right had side where its all white.

or
having them as rollovers showing a higher res pic of the car. then when someone clicks the member it goes to a seperate page filled with all the info about the member/car and it may also contain a small gallery of the member/car.

i don't think that it is to important to have a map of central florida. as far as i know, there is only one place in America that can be called Central Florida. we need to think of something different. not just one picture of something. the thursday night CFTC meet, us at an autocross, crazy earthquake, etc. i think that the front page should have photo's of what we have to show for as a group and what we have done!

not wanting to talk bad about auto X but i think that we should replace the map with a pic and not an auto x pic. Something that shows people who we are and what we do on a normal week.

What do you want Lou? A pic of you EATING DICK on a normal week? Plus, you're the only one that still refuses to auto-x so I think if viet wants to put a pic of auto-x, you should let him have it and you shouldn't try to make it a pic of a hillclimb or track day; neither of which, you have done, btw. lol
